Paonta: As part of the Year of Compassion celebrations, the Paonta Cholsum Tibetan Settlement organised a prayer ceremony on 24 June 2026, coinciding with White Wednesday.

The gathering, attended by local settlers, involved the accumulation of mani and Tara mantra recitations from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, dedicated to the wellbeing and long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
