Guidelines for Sharing the Soft Copy of the Tibet Museum Traveling Exhibition
The soft copy of the Tibet Museum’s Traveling Exhibition contains images and content that are under copyright by the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama (OHHDL),་the Tibet Museum, and several renowned photographers. To ensure proper use and distribution, the following guidelines must be strictly adhered to:
- Authorized Distribution
The soft copy will be officially shared only with the Offices of Tibet and respective Tibetan Settlement Offices and the onus of the responsibility for secondary sharing within the prescribed jurisdiction and protection of the materials lies with the concerned Representatives of the Offices of Tibet and the Tibetan Settlement Officers. - Secondary Sharing and Use
Any further sharing of the exhibition materials — including to Tibetan associations, institutions, organizations, or individuals — must be done only after obtaining prior approval from the relevant Offices of Tibet or Settlement Offices. - Copyright Notice and Attribution
All materials, especially those featuring His Holiness the Dalai Lama, must retain their original attributions and copyright notices. No alterations, commercial use, or modifications are allowed without explicit written permission from the copyright holders. - Purpose of Use
The exhibition materials are to be used solely for Goton celebration, educational and awareness purposes. Any use that is commercial, or otherwise outside the scope of the Tibet Museum’s intent is strictly prohibited. - Responsibility of Recipients
Those receiving the exhibition materials are responsible for ensuring that these guidelines and conditions are respected and enforced throughout their usage and any subsequent sharing.
