On the first day, Rinpoche emphasised the importance of integrating meditation into daily life and spoke on the fundamental principles of Buddhism. He later visited the Sambhota Tibetan School in Kollegal, where he encouraged students to study diligently and reminded them of the valuable opportunity they have in exile to preserve their language and culture. He also urged teachers to focus on nurturing students’ moral values alongside academic learning, before visiting monasteries within the settlement to offer blessings.

On the second day, Rinpoche bestowed the Amitayus long-life empowerment on residents and highlighted the need for unity among Tibetans in exile, free from regional and sectarian divisions. He called on the community to safeguard their religion, culture, and language, and to uphold the guidance of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The visit concluded with Rinpoche’s meetings at the settlement offices and a visit to the local old age home, where he encouraged the elderly to face life’s challenges with courage and a positive state of mind.
